Prof. Mariana Rufino

Meet Mariana Rufino in this latest edition of „NewIn“. She has recently been appointed Professor of Livestock Systems. Environmental aspects of livestock farming are an important focus of her research. “We need to reassess the value we place on animal products and promote diversity in both in production and consumption,” she says. In the interview, she also reveals which international experiences have particularly shaped her and motivated her to pursue a career in science.
